So I went home got on the internet and then realized each camera is unique. It helped to go over the details and this camera has everything I want a camera to do. The lens I want plus the camera was a bit more than the D90, but I won't out grow this one. Seems like things were easy way back in the 35mm day of ISO 100 film and manual SLRs, but I have to say, there were limitations and these cameras have so much capabilities once you get over the initial learning curve.
Then there are the Canon DSLRs and I must admit they are tempting too. But the last time I bought a camera I wanted Nikon and instead bought another brand name, which was good, but also limited. So this time I'm going for that Nikon!

Ivy,
ReplyDeleteI am taking notes on this post! The one and only thing on my Christmas list this year is a new camera. Well, also slippers, but I don't think that counts. I was looking at the Canon Rebel that everyone LOVES, but it's so pricy. Then someone told me I should look at the Canon G-10, lesse expensive, but fewer features.
I'm sure the Nikon's aren't cheap, but I'll look into that brand as well. What do you think are the important things to look for? I really need to educate myself. All I know is that my current camera is stinky and I'm envious of everyone's great photos!
