Woof Woof

DON'T YA FEEL LIKE DOING THIS TO SOMEONE EVERY NOW AND THEN!

PRETTY WEEDS

SHE RUNS, HE FOLLOWS!
WOOF WOOF, LOOK WHAT I HAVE FOR YOU (NOW I DIDN'T KNOW IF SHE WAS GOING TO THROW IT OR KNOCK HIM ON THE HEAD WITH THIS), SHE THREW IT!

I AM SO ENJOYING KIRA'S NEW FOUND ABILITY TO SPEAK TODDLERESQUE STYLE! THIS WEEK SHE SEEMS TO HAVE TAKEN OFF IN HER WORD ACQUISITION. I AM AMAZED AND THRILLED, SINCE NEXT MONTH WE HAVE ANOTHER SPEECH EVALUATION AND I AM HOPING THEY TELL ME SHE DOESN'T NEED IT.

THE SPEECH ISSUE HAS BEEN A GREAT SOURCE OF FRUSTRATION FOR KIRA AND SINCE SHE STARTED COMMUNICATING WITH BASIC SIGN LANGUAGE AND GESTURES, PULLING HER HAIR AND MINE HAS STOPPED AS WELL AS THE THE H. LECTOR BEHAVIOR:))

SINCE SHE CAN'T PRONOUNCE HER DOG'S NAME (RECCHI) SHE BARKS, WOOF WOOF, IT'S SO FUNNY TO HEAR. WHEN WE TURN INTO THE DEVELOPMENT, I HEAR WOOF WOOF AS THIS IS HER WAY OF TELLING ME "WE'RE HOME". WOOF WOOF IS HER BEST FRIEND THESE DAYS TOO, ALTHOUGH SOMETIMES I WONDER, WHEN I SEE HER SMACKING HIM.

EVERYDAY THIS CHILD AMUSES ME WITH HER ADVENTURES! IT'S SUCH A GIFT TO BE HER MOMMA!

I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, SWEET KIRA!

  1. Oh, don't you just love their toddler talk. I'm always so intrigued by what they may say next. I hope the speech evaluation goes well for you next week. I'll be thinking about you!

  2. The first picture made me laugh out loud....silly girl.

Some days with Lottie I think..."why did we want her to talk?" LOL She is NEVER quiet unless she is sleeping.

  3. I couldn't wait for Kerri to start talking, and everyone warned me that when she did I would look forward to peace and quiet. Kerri talks non stop now (even though she needs speech therapy) and the things that come out of her mouth keep us in stitches! Kira will be just like her - wait and see!
