NEW NIKON PHOTOS
I just had to play around with this beauty! For the most part the photos were in auto mode, but at some point I did try aperture priority. What I love so far is it truly captures vivid colors and doesn't seem to be effected by the yellow walls, which have given all my photos a different hue that I would have to manually edit in iPhoto. I didn't even realize how much distortion there was till I compared the photos.
So far, LOVE THIS CAMERA

Beautiful pics, Ivy!! Have fun with your new toy. : ) I have the Olympus and love it, but still have soooo much to learn. I mostly use it in auto still.
take care!
Great pictures..... I think you need to come over and take some of my girls. Ha
It was great talking to you today.

Beautiful pictures!!! Isn't it fun having a new toy??
My favorites are the "Made in China" shots. :-)
Kira is a wonderful girl and so cute! I love her smile. She looks so happy.
No matter the camera..you cant go wrong with a pretty face like that!
Oh, Ivy, she melts my heart! So glad you are having fun with your new camera.... now for a little secret someone shared with me! EDITING....... http://picasa.google.com/
If you download their free program you can do wonderful things with your photos.... play around. save several coppies of each photo after trying it different ways. Try their auto correction, "I got Lucky" or something like that it says.... add in more fill light.... go to the effects and hit sharpen. And or soft focus. You will love it!
Thanks so much for the kudos and confidence here! I so need it. Just about on page 30 of the manual and it's sort of painful. I think I'll have to just play with it. I will be going to the Nikon School asap. Oh Natalie, I'd love to take pics of your girls, but you do a PRETTY Great job yourself:))
Beautiful photos - the colors are so bright! Your little girl is simply adorable!
Have a fun weekend and Merry Christmas!
